31. Balance Changes
This week was simply spent on drawing out animations for the axe phantom enemy and the Shield hero. I made a good amount of progress on the axe phantom, but only made one sprite for Shield. The main reason for this is due to Shield's redesign. The image on the right was how he looked liked once I drew him out digitally. With the colors, it was clear that he kind of looked out of place. After some time, I got a design that I thought looked better.
Another thing I wanted to share this week was an exploit that my friend discovered. I had originally planned to make the ghost player completely invincible as the player controlled them. The idea was that enemies would have to target the main player to deal damage. However, this led to the broken strategy of mashing attack, then block once the enemy starts to swing.
