38. A Playable Build!


In order to make the submission deadline for the Student Games Festival, I had to spend an insane amount of time this week trying to create a playable game. Please try it out and let me know what you think!

Some things I had to make were a boss fight, title screen, cutscenes, and implementing music/sound effects. I didn't have time to make original sounds for the game, so I had to reuse stuff I've made for a previous project. I've never entered a game jam before, but I feel like my workflow this week is a similar experience. Overall, I had a lot of fun working under a deadline like this! I think I'll take some time now to focus on balancing and tweaking the game based of the feedback I've gotten so far.
