35. Updating Placeholders
Two Steps Forward » Devlog
This week was mainly spent trying to improve the visuals of the game and making the pause menu. The pause menu looks pretty basic, so there's nothing I want to showcase there. Although I couldn't get animations done, I started to replace some of the previous placeholders with single sprites. I want to be able to replace all the paper placeholders with single sprites before I work on animations. I was also able to include more particle effects in the game! In the GiF, you can see a dust particle appear once the ghost character lands on the ground if you look closely enough.
