21. Putting It Together
During this week, I got a good amount of work done for this project. The majority of the time was spent on drawing out the status HUD for Shield and polishing the two displays until I got something satisfactory. There's still a lot of minor issues I have with the player icons, but for now, I decided to continue working on other stuff. I do intend to eventually go back and add shading and other details to the player icons. After having the displays done, I placed them into the current build of the game to see how they'd look. In the GIF above, I showcased a bit of what I have so far. You can see how the displays change when the players swap. I personally like what I have so far, but I'll definitely have to add a visual transition to the display when a swap happens.
