Fate Escape

A small endless action prototype made for ZenoJam 3. You play as a hero who is fated to fight against monsters for all eternity. It is a slightly demanding job, so it's your goal to find a way to escape this fate and reclaim your freedom.
Hint: I didn't have time to implement a way for you to do that, so your only escape is to stop playing the game

NOTE: I do not take any credit in making the art or music for this prototype, the links to the respective free assets that I used are provided below. I only take credit for programming, making sound effects, and designing the game, since my goal was to get an opportunity to experiment with game design more.
